Acorn Scaffolding (Yorkshire) Ltd - Based just outside Malton - heading east on the A64 is one of the region's largest contract scaffolding erection, hire and sales companies employing over 120 staff.

Ideally placed to service the entire Yorkshire region and within easy travelling distance to join the major trunk routes, we have customers ranging from the East Coast of Yorkshire and as far as Heathrow Airport.

Our aim is to provide a first class service to all of our customers whilst remaining very competitive.

Our policy is to employ direct labour only, to enable us to train and invest in our workfore.

All our scaffolders are qualified to either basic or advanced level and hold up to date CISRS cards. All labourers or trainees are required to register with the CITB and undergo Health & Saftey touch screen tests.

Estimators Viewing each job and meeting clients	Transport Manager/Mechanics Ensuring our fleet of vehicles meet strict maintenance checks.
Administration Staff Dealing with client's day to day enquiries, programming works, fleet management, payroll, accountancy and training.	Hoist Manager Ensuring hoists are erected safely and appropriate paperwork completed.
Yard Staff Operating from 5.00am to midnight - loading and unloading vehicles, checking components for wear & tear and checking stock levels.	Health & Safety Our ethos is to encourage, continuously monitor and update our approach to Health & Safety. This ensures a safe working environment for the workforce whilst paying due care and attention to the safety of the general public. We invest very heavily in training to ensure our team of scaffolders and office personell have the very latest skills at their fingertips.
